Why It's Called The Loop

"Human in the loop" isn't a slogan. It's an engineering principle.

The Loop is Xavier's answer in physical form—a place on campus where people, especially Xavier students, work alongside AI while human judgment remains responsible for what happens next.

The building is being renovated while Xavier courses and employee AI learning continue inside. Broader community programs at The Loop are planned for 2027. Some AI events across campus are already open to the public; check each listing for its location and audience.
